is the President of EEE Consulting, LLC, based in Fort Myers, FL. He is also the Vice-President of Strategic Partnerships for MGCG in the Boston area. Mr. Porter has over twenty years of experience in training, teaching, project management, product development, engineering, safety listings, patent, business strategy and start-up management in computer sales and consumer products. His projects have been related to automotive, aviation, food, beverage, oil, gas, coal, wind, solar, hazardous waste, print, paint, ink, industrial manufacturing and retail product markets.
Mr. Porter holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Management with Specialty in Project Management from Boston University. Currently, he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses at Boston University, Nichols College, Elmhurst University, Amity University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. The topics have varied over the past fifteen years in Project Management,Marketing, E-Commerce, Accounting, Financial Management, Operations Management, Global Business Management, Effective Business Writing, Web Design and other disciplines.
Mr. Porter has maintained his professional engineering license in the state of Illinois for more than 15 years. He also has been awarded multiple patents in the USA and internationally.
Brian is a member of the Project Management Institute and has credentials as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP) and Certified Authorized Training Partner (ATP). He was in the inaugural group of those to receive the American Management Association- Certified Professional in Management (AMA-CPM) in 2020. His international efforts include working with firms in UAE, China, Mexico, Romania, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Japan, Sweden, Israel, Great Britain, Egypt, Italy, Dubai, South Africa and Germany.
He has written books on Global Management Strategies, International Project Management (1st and 2nd edition) and Natural Negotiation for Engineers besides other papers being published on project management topics. In 2012 his article “Split Decisions” was the cover story for Mechanical Engineering magazine. He recently published two titles, AMA-CPM Exam Prep and 7Es for Motivating Employees and plans three more titles in the next two years in the "No Fluff" Series.
Brian is based in Fort Myers, Florida with his beautiful wife, three children, a dog and a hamster! He is into drone flying, ham radio (K9PMP), rollerblading and precision long-range shooting.
